Марокканский медиа-ресурс m.le360.ma сообщает, что в ходе визита Председателя Правительства РФ Д.А. Медведева в Королевство Марокко достигнуты договоренности о приобретении в России зенитно-ракетной системы С-400. Среди подписанных документов есть примечательный документ - Соглашение между Правительством Российской Федерации и Правительством Королевства Марокко о взаимной охране результатов интеллектуальной деятельности и защите интеллектуальной собственности в ходе двустороннего военно-технического сотрудничества

Кантемировская дивизия станет «реактивной»

Вместо дизельных танков Т-72БЗ соединение получит турбореактивные Т-80БВМ 

Минобороны приняло решение вооружить 4-ю гвардейскую танковую Кантемировскую дивизию уникальными модернизированными «реактивными» танками Т-80БВМ. На военном сленге эти боевые машины называются «реактивными». Вместо традиционных дизелей на «восьмидесятках» установлены газотурбинные двигатели (ГТД). Звук их работы напоминает гул самолетов и вертолетов. Благодаря ГТД Т-80БВМ отличается высокой скоростью и маневренностью. А новейшая система управления огнем позволяет танку поражать наземные и даже воздушные цели днем и ночью в любую погоду.
По словам экспертов, благодаря новым «реактивным» танкам 4-я дивизия станет универсальным инструментом для Европейского театра военных действий. Ее танковые батальоны и полки смогут очень быстро совершать марши, занимать оборону, переходить в контрнаступление и вести бой в тылу противника.

The U.S. Army will release a new combat “FM 3.0 Operations” doctrine designed to better position the service for the prospect of large-scale, mechanized warfare against technologically advanced near-peer rivals — such as Russia or China — able to substantially challenge U.S. military technological superiority.
The new “Operations” doctrine, to be unveiled in a matter of days at the Association of the United States Army Annual Convention, is intended as a supplement or adjustment to the Army’s current “FM 3.0 Full Spectrum” Field Manual, a doctrine which first emerged more than several years ago.
Authors of the new doctrine explain that while many elements of the Army’s previous “Full Spectrum” doctrine are retained and updated, “FM 3.0 Full Spectrum” was written when the Russians had not attacked Ukraine, the Army was immersed in war in Afghanistan and the current tensions in the South China Sea had not yet emerged to the extent they do today, Col. Rich Creed, Combined Arms Director Ft. Leavenworth, told Scout Warrior.
“The Army needs to be prepared for large-scale combat operations against potential near-peer capabilities within a regional context,” Creed said. “The operational scenario is different now. We are retaining lessons and experiences from prior doctrine, but we need to address the tactics and procedures conducted by large-scale units to conduct land combat.”

One of the British Army’s armoured infantry brigades is set to be disbanded and hundreds of its fighting vehicles scrapped as part of a cost-cutting defence review, Whitehall sources claimed last night.
Army chiefs had been planning to spend £1.3bn refurbishing up to 380 Warrior armoured vehicles.
The Warrior, which can hold six infantry troops and has a 30mm gun, was expected to form the backbone of the two armoured infantry brigades that were planned as part of a reorganization of the army. Under the plan the three existing armoured brigades would be reshaped into two, plus two strike brigades.
Defence sources have revealed, however, that the Ministry of Defence could axe or dramatically scale back the project to upgrade the Warriors, leaving just one armoured brigade and the strike brigades.

Iron Curtain APS for Styker?

The only U.S.-based Active Protection System solution for Army combat vehicles is in the midst of government testing, according to the company’s president.
Herndon, Virginia-based Artis LLC’s Iron Curtain was selected by the Army to be qualified as an interim solution for the service’s Stryker combat vehicle roughly a year ago, Keith Brendley told Defense News in an Oct. 3 interview.
The Army determined it needed APS solutions to fill an immediate need while it develops its Modular Active Protection System (MAPS). The service quickly selected three vendors to supply commercially available APS systems to qualify them on its fleet of combat vehicles.
Israel’s Rafael was picked to supply its Trophy APS system, already deployed with the Israeli military, for the Abrams tank and another Israeli company IMI is supplying its Iron Fist for the Bradley fighting vehicle.

Армия стремится расширить производство AMPV

Армия США стремится ускорить производство бронированного многоцелевого транспортного средства (AMPV), чтобы заменить им семейство бронемашин старого поколения - M113A3, об заявили представители американской армии и промышленности в ходе выставки AUSA 2017.
Как сообщил журналистам Джим Миллер, директор BAE Systems по развитию бизнеса боевых машин для амии США, BAE Systems планирует поставить армии 29 AMPV к концу года, при этом, на данный момент уже было отгружено  17  бронемашин. Из них 6 штук было отправлено на Абердинский полигон (Aberdeen Proving Grounds) и еще 6 на испытательный полигон Юма, где они проходят всесторонние испытания и тестирования.
